I am looking to keep all away from the rogue operators. Some believe that regulation will hurt the offshore books and starve many of the current operators. I want to see all players have the right to wager on sports and have Zero concern over being stiffed. There are pros and cons of most anything. But if several million players can be protected, then isnt that the way to go?

I don't beleive you can regulate the books to the point that your money will be as safe as say it is in a bank account, I just don't see how it can be done.

The books in vegas are regulated and a few have tanked, some have even caught fire.

General,
admirable thought but I do not see it happening ...I wish it could happen. But remember if the offshore's get regulated as you state then they would also regulate the gamblers as im sure they would know everything about them
